Apricot-Pineapple Jam

With our new house in the "country", I feel that I need to domesticate myself. I can find my way around a kitchen fairly well, but I have never embarked on anything like this. I have to say that I surprised myself at how easy making jam really was. And I surprised myself even more with how good it actually tasted. I am not a fan of either apricots or jam, but I definately have enjoyed putting this on fresh bread.

Cool cool! When I was younger, I used to help my mom when she made jams. Not my favorite thing to do. ;) Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Okay. You get the Kitchen Crown for the month! Canning has always scared the pants off me so I've never dared to try it. I'm glad to hear that you had success with this because Ashley and Jordan gave us an apricot tree, and I vowed that I would someday make apricot jam with the fruit. Oh, just so you know, I've signed you up to do that, er, HELP me with that. Right?

Nice jammin'!

Did you go to the VernalMOMs activity where we learned to can at Windy's place? The whole event had a reverse result for me - I'm now even more intimidated of it!
