Holiday Craft Ideas

I am hoping that Santa thinks that I have been a good girl and gets me a new camera. My old camera has been a good friend and has been there when I've needed it...until now! My poor camera has died.
If you don't mind, let us have a moment of silence for my camera.....................
R.I.P. My good friend!

Moving on, here are a few of the Holiday crafts that Addison and I have done together.

This first one is one that we did at my mom's house in honor of Thanksgiving and the turkey that leaves our bellies full.

Take 1/2 graham cracker, put a little (or a lot in my case) chocolate frosting on the graham and then place a striped chocolate cookie and 1/2 a small almond joy on the frosting. I also put frosting between the cookie and the almond joy so that the cookie wouldn't fall over. Then take a little colored frosting on the almond joy for eyes and a waddle. And there you have it, your own little Turky Lurky.

Addison and I did gingerbread man cookies at Grandma Beth's house and then again at Aunt Nancy's. The first picture is Addison's little man and the second is Mama's little man. I think Addison's turned out better than mine. I'm a little jealous!

I think your turkey and the gingerbread men turned out great. I'm glad you can do fun things like that together.

I so want to make gingerbread cookies and a house. I ate some really good gingerbread tonight. I'm trying to get the recipe so I can make some. Hopefully, I get it before the end of the year because after that, I'm going back on a strict healthy eating lifestyle.

These are so sweet (literally)! I sure hope you didn't name your gingerbread men, because you know what they say: once you name your cookies it just isn't morally or ethically right to decapitate them at that point. Don't you do it. You'll be sorry. Really, really sorry.

First, I love your new blog look! Those pictures are fabulous. What a beautiful family!!

You also crack me up...so sorry about your camera though! I want one of those really, REALLY expensive ones that has all those functions that I have no clue about! Some day...

What fun crafts! Great time of year!
