Randy, Addison and I like to take drives. We generally go for our drives on Sunday afternoons. It is a great way to get out of the house without spending any money. (Except for the cost of gas, of course.) A couple of years ago, Randy and I went on a drive up to Flaming Gorge and saw some Big Horn Sheep and haven't seen any since. This past Sunday, we took our weekly drive and ended up at Flaming Gorge. I love Flaming Gorge! (I think Flaming Gorge is probably one of the prettiest places around Vernal to see.) Anyway, we turned off Red Canyon Loop and we saw a herd of Big Horn Sheep right off the side of the road. It was perfect, because the sheep were on Addison's side of the car. I rolled down her window and Addison started squealing and laughing with delight. I told her that they were sheep and asked her what a sheep says, but Addison kept looking at me all confused and would say "Moo". (Please refer here to see what a sheep looks like to a year and half year old.)
I love that my daughter loves her daddy! I love that her daddy loves his daughter!
I love the view from this vantage point.
What a cute picture! I love this picture of Randy and Addison together!
When it was time for us to leave, Addison DID NOT want to go. She kept trying to run to the sheep. (Which kept terrifying her mother.) After a few rounds of bucking and kicking on Addison's part, we got her into her car seat. As we drove home, Addison kept crying and saying "Moo". Finally, Randy turned to her and said "I know honey. It is sad, but we will come back and see them again. I know they miss you too!" I couldn't help but laugh. What a cute daddy!
