Peek-A-Book

We love books at our house. I can not walk past a book store without feeling a magnetic pull. The other day as I was walking past a book store, minding my own business, I saw the clearance stand. This particular clearance stand was full of SUPER cute children's books. We happen to love playing with Fisher Price Little People at our house so when I saw this particular book, I just knew that I had to have it. (The $2.99 price tag didn't hurt either!)

Addison and I went on a little field trip with Papa and I pulled out this book to entertain her. Needless to say, it was HUGE hit! At one point, she started to call this flap book her "peek-a-book". I couldn't help but laughing! She is such a little smarty pants! I have a sneaking suspicion that she gets her smarts from her daddy! :)

I can't believe you got that for $2.99!! I bought one just like it but they are at the zoo and I think it cost me like 9 bucks. Lucky girl!! Oh and to make it better...Kali hardly even likes it!!

Great new header and background! Love it.
You're lucky she uses the flaps appropriately - Brianna still RIPS them off!

Well, I'll make it unanimous: Your new layout is adorable! It is fall-ish, whimsical and has a touch of wisdom with Mr. Owl overseeing everything. Darling!

And you just KNOW you are speaking my language whenever you mention books, right?!!! I'm quite jealous of Addi over this new book of hers. (Gimme . . .)

Stacey,

Just give Kali time. She will learn to love them in time. And if she doesn't, feel free to send it over to my house.

Chelsea,

We have a couple of "peek-a-books" that haven't been used appropriately either. I'm a little scared to start Addi on pop up books. I can only imagine what those books would look like!

Yay for books! I'm an addict! In fact, we have this exact one and I just bought the one like it called "Trip to the Zoo". Seagull Book is where all the CHEAP kids books are!
