Valentine's Tea

My cute sister in law Shirley put together a super cute Valentine's tea for the nieces and nephews. The kids were supposed to get cards to distribute to one another. I had a moment of craftiness and decided to make cards with Addison. I don't get these moments very often, so Addison jump at the thought of doing this!
While Addison was napping with her dad, I made the cards and put them together, so that when she woke up all she would have to do is go to town with her glitter. And go to town she did!

Check out her concentration!
"Don't bother me, I'm working!"
The finished product. I wasn't very clever on some of my cards. I am SO not a crafty person (hence the reason I don't have crafty moments very often) and was tired and done with cards after doing two for Paige.
(Can you tell which ones I made for Paige and which ones Addison made?)
I don't know why, but this was my favorite card that I made. Simple. Just the way I like things.
Addison wanted me to make a card with her family on it.
This was the best I could do!
Doesn't she look so elegent and regal?

Me and my cute girls! I sure do love them!!!
Thank you Aunt Shirley for a very successful, very fun tea party!

What beautiful pictures of you and your girls! You look so pretty! I love your crafty cards, too, and the ruffles along the edges of the hearts. Your glitter family is so cute--I hope Addison was impressed! What a fun surprise to have waiting for you when you wake up from a nap! Well done, indeed.

Jen, you look so gorgeous! I love those last two pics!

Those ruffly pink hearts could NOT be any cuter! Holy cats, I would love some sort of an outfit or purse or hair do-dah or something, anything that resembles these hearts. So cute!

Love your new blog design--I heart spring too!!!

You look so pretty Jen! And I love that you let Addi have long hair. Totally can relate to the non craftiness.
