Welcome Home Daddy!

Randy came home on Friday, after being gone for nearly 3 weeks. Addison was almost down for her nap when she heard her daddy's voice. Once she got a hold of her daddy, she wouldn't let go for about 20 minutes. And our house has not been the same since he's been home. Some people find this story funny, I don't know what to think. The other night, Randy and I were laying in bed and Addison was in between the two of us. Once Addison realized that I was there, she gave me the stink eye and climbed over her father and layed on the other side of him! She is VERY attached to her daddy and does not want ANYBODY but him!
(No, Addison is not picking her nose! She is obsessed with putting her fingers in her mouth lately.)
What a sweet little girl!  Addison wanted to help make a welcome home dinner for daddy too!  She is the best little helper and I love that she is interested in being in the kitchen with me. I love to cook and hopefully she will too!

*On a side note:  Dinner would not have tasted nearly as good if Addison hadn't been there to help me!  Thanks, kiddo!!!

Excuse me . . . what is Addi sitting on while she stirs dinner? . . . . I get in trouble for putting her on my counter!

I love that you have Addison up on the counter being your sous chef! I totally did that with my kids almost every time I cooked/baked. It seemed to keep all of us out of trouble . . .
